FINAL RESPONSE

For my final response, I have chosen to look at Daniel Shiel's work. His work is observing landscapes from the past and the present. It involves the rich textures, patterns and colours evident in most everyday objects that are both natural and artificial. Daniel's work is focused on details that are often unseen and or overlooked at the first glance. His work creates a fresh and unfamiliar landscapes because he merges many of his images to make a big surrealistic piece.

Some of his work tells a story behind it from where he's been and where he'd like to go in life. He shows off his work in the form of a collage which focuses on black and white, colour and then the two combined to make inspirational pieces. 

He displays his work in the form of a collage with the majority of his work, having a black background. This makes the work stand out more and not get faded into the background but because Daniel's work is all colour and vibrant colours at that, his work pops more so with the darker background.
